Salon Buzz is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Guest Experience Coordinators for our River North and Gold Coast location.
Our River North salon is in the middle of the “art and design district”, full of fabulous art galleries and a few steps from the brown line.
Our Gold Coast salon is steps away from the Magnificent Mile, the heart of Chicago’s fashion district.
Guest Experience Coordinators (Full Time and Part Time)
Our Guest Experience Coordinator must share a passion for excellence, positive energy, and attention to detail. He/She/They will work with a team built on mutual respect, collaboration, and love for excellent service.
The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential for this position. Salon Buzz provides employees with the same level of care that we expect to share with our guests.

Responsibilities:
Check in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, always with a smile.
Assure that new guests are introduced to the service provider and get a tour of
the salon.
Check out guests at the end of the service. Ascertains guest satisfaction, pre-
book appointments, and sales of retail products.
Handle all guests and interactions with the highest level of hospitality and
professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible, resolving
guests’ complaints, and assisting them in all inquiries concerning salon services,
hours of operation, locations, etc.
Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction
with guests will be in person and by phone.
Book, change and cancel appointments as needed.
Confirm guests with upcoming appointments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Retail or guest service experience in the hospitality industry, two years minimum,
and a consistent job history
Desire to work in a collaborative work environment
Excellent oral communication skills and telephone etiquette
Ability to adhere to a script and follow script logic
Passion for Luxury Hospitality
